Happy March!

We are in the throes of the Kali Yuga, which means that human goodness and virtue have peaked and are plummeting in a rapid downward spiral. Kali Yuga is a time of chaos, hate, hypocrisy, intolerance, quarrels, violence, lying, cheating, and sloth, to name but a few of the Kali Yuga traits.

Attachments and aversions are the culprits to our decline in human virtue and what comes out of our attachments and aversions is fear. We all know fear leads to hate and hate leads to the dark side. My friends take a peek at the local, state, national, or international news, and you can read that hate is running rampant. As within, without hate runs unrestrained in the external world because hatred runs unbridled in our hearts and minds. The real pandemic that needs a cure is the hatred that grows within. The first step in creating a lasting remedy to the pandemic of hate is examining these three words omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. 

We are definitely at a critical juncture, and it does not have to end badly. The Yogic Prophecies predict two possible outcomes: things can continue in a chaotic downward spiral, or the transition can be smoother and more dignified. If we want a more dignified shift, we need to vanquish the hate that has made its home in our hearts and minds. One way to start cleaning the inner chambers of our hearts is to contemplate what omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent means and repeat daily the Prayer of Remembrance. 

Omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent...Have you ever thought about how your life could change for the better if you felt in the core of your being what these words mean? There would be no sworn enemies; there would be no derision. What would be left would be friends and love.

I suggest you read the prayer of remembrance daily, and after reading, you sit with these three words and contemplate how your lack of understanding or understanding makes you either contract or expand.

God, you are the mother; you are the father.

God, you are the friend; you are the foe.

God, you are the loyal; you are the traitor. 

God, you are the neighbor; you are the stranger.

God, you are the relative; you are the non-relative.

God, you are the beloved; you are the enemy.

God, you are the human; you are the worm. 

God, you are the gains; you are the losses.

God, you are the comfort; you are the discomfort.

God, you are the wins; you are the failures. 

God, you are the health; you are the sickness.

God, you are the freedom; you are the prison.

God, you are the Universe; you are the nucleus. 

God, you are the birth; you are the death.

God, you are the infinite; you are the finite. 

Let me remember God; you are everyone and everything; you are omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. With this remembrance, let me love all and serve all. With this understanding, let me cultivate a grateful heart for all things because they are all you and from you. You are my constant eternal companion that has never forsaken me, has never forgotten me; although I have both abandoned and forgotten you, your love has never left me. 

Remember, we decide if it continues as a painful downward spiral or a smooth transition, the choice is up to you, my friend.
